Christmas 2007 was different for us.  We had simple food on the table, we had no gifts for each other BUT we had tons & tons of stories & laughter to share. We’re not tight on the budget in fact all of us (my cousins & I) have our own jobs that we can pitch in loads of money.  It’s just that we felt that we were so wrapped up in what food to prepare, what gifts to give.  We tend to forget the bond that held us together…Christ & the love for each other.    Things I need to be thankful for… I am thankful that I am still alive & my parents at the age of 65 are still with me. By plane from Manila via Cagayan de Oro then travel by land for 3-4 hrs then transfer to roro boat (30 mins), another 40 mins to reach Tangub. By boat via Cebu.
